Vaughn Monroe

Vaughn Wilton Monroe (October 7, 1911 – May 21, 1973) was an American baritone singer, trumpeter, big band leader, actor, and businessman, who was most popular in the 1940s and 1950s. He has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one for recording and another for radio performance. Vaughn attended Jeanette High School and wrote the school's Alma Mater. Many of our family attended Jeanette High School.

He married Marian Baughman in 1940. Marian was Christian Lauffer's (Sr.) 4th great-granddaughter.

Below are some of Vaughn Monroe's songs. For those of you who remember, enjoy the memories. For others, just enjoy history.
